Myndful Innovations LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Reflektive (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share information when you use our App and related services. By using Reflektive, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We take your privacy extremely seriously. Your mental and emotional data deserves the highest level of protection.
Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account
- Subscription and payment information (processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our payment processor — we do not directly store full credit card numbers)
- User content: text input, voice recordings, and any other content you submit during sessions
- Feedback, support requests, or communications you send to us
1.2 Information Generated by the App
- Memory Graph data: patterns, themes, triggers, and connections identified from your sessions
- Alignment Score: your personal clarity metric calculated across sessions
- Emotional and cognitive pattern data: detected emotions, stressors, cognitive distortions, mood assessments, and intensity scores
- Session summaries and AI-generated insights
- Graph nodes and edges representing relationships between your identified patterns
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, and version
- Usage data: session frequency, duration, features used, and interaction patterns
- Log data: error reports, crash logs, and performance data
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level only, not precise GPS)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
- Process your sessions through our AI pipeline, including safety classification, technique selection, and cognitive pattern recognition
- Build and maintain your personal Memory Graph and Alignment Score
- Generate AI-powered responses, insights, and recommendations within the App
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
- Improve the App's functionality, accuracy, and user experience
- Ensure the safety and security of the platform
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms

How Artificial Intelligence Processes Your Data
When you use the App, your input is processed through an AI pipeline that includes:
- Safety classification: Your messages are screened for crisis indicators to ensure your safety. If distress signals are detected, you will be directed to appropriate emergency resources.
- AI conversation: Your input is processed by AI language models to generate reflective responses and insights.
- Pattern extraction: AI extracts emotional themes, cognitive patterns, and relevant insights from each session to build your personal Memory Graph.
- Mood and intensity assessment: AI evaluates emotional states to provide appropriate responses.
Data Storage and Security
4.1 Encryption
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Your Memory Graph and session data are stored in encrypted databases.
4.2 Infrastructure
We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers to host and process your data. Our infrastructure providers maintain SOC 2 compliance and other relevant security certifications.
4.3 Access Controls
Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We implement role-based access controls and audit logging.
4.4 Security Limitations
While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the App, including:
- AI model providers (for processing your sessions)
- Cloud hosting and database providers
- Voice transcription services (for Voice-to-Insight processing)
- Payment processors
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for providing services to us.
5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our users, or the public.
5.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via email or prominent notice within the App.
5.4 Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, analytics, or business purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information and session data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. You may delete your Memory Graph and all associated session data at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
7.2 Correction
You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
7.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information. You can delete your Memory Graph at any time within the App with a single tap. For full account deletion, contact us or use the in-app deletion feature.
7.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or contacting us directly.
7.5 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
7.6 European Residents (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and port your data. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and the performance of our contract with you.
Children's Privacy
Reflektive is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as possible. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Health Information Disclaimer
Reflektive is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The App is not designed to collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. The App is designed for general wellness, self-reflection, and entertainment purposes, not for the diagnosis, treatment, or management of medical conditions.
Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
